Hey gorgeous, let’s talk about something that sounds way scarier than it really is. Model releases. I know the name alone feels a little formal, but the whole point is to protect you and give you full control. And since your comfort and privacy are everything to me, I want you to feel totally at ease with what you are signing and why it matters.
So what is a model release?
Think of it like a permission slip that lets me use your photos in the specific ways you choose. Nothing happens without your say so. You get to decide exactly how your images are shared, or if they stay completely private. You set the boundaries and I honor them.
Here are the main options most clients choose from.
1. The Full Release
This is the option for anyone who feels incredible and wants to share that energy. A full release lets me use your images in marketing, on social media, in my portfolio, and in studio materials. It is for the women who want to inspire others to step into their confidence. And trust me, nothing is ever used without a conversation. No surprises. Ever.
The Anonymous Release
If you want to keep your identity private but still love the idea of your artful shots inspiring others, this one is perfect. I only use images that do not show your face or anything that would identify you. Think soft details, beautiful silhouettes, hands, curves, and textures. Your privacy stays completely protected.
The Private Collection
This one is simple. Your photos stay yours. No sharing and no marketing. Just you and your images. Some clients choose this because the photos feel deeply personal. Others choose it because the session is for a partner or for themselves and no one else. Both are completely valid.
Why does a model release matter?
It keeps everything crystal clear between you and your photographer. It sets expectations and gives you control over your privacy. I believe every person deserves to feel safe and respected in their boudoir session. That means no pressure, no guilt, and no fear around how your images are handled.
Let’s keep it simple and stress free.
I walk you through everything before you sign anything. You can ask questions, change your mind, or take your time. This is your session and your choice. The goal is for you to feel empowered and informed, not overwhelmed.
Your boudoir experience is about your story, your comfort, and your confidence. No matter which release you choose, you can relax knowing your privacy and boundaries are the priority here. Together, we create something beautiful on your terms.
If you are ready to start your session or you want to learn more about how releases work in my Dayton boudoir studio, I am here for you.
Let’s create some magic.
Xo, your biggest cheerleader
