Boudoir fears

Shortly after women book with me I ask them a question. That question is “what fears do you have now that you’ve booked?”

The most common answer that I get is something like these:

• That I'm not going to look good in the pictures. I'm nervous my weight will just make it impossible to get a good picture.

• I have to find clothes, and I need to lose weight before the shoot.

• Not being pleased with how I look.

• Bailing last minute, I don’t like where my body is, it's at its worst

• That I will hate what I see.. and that is just a normal woman fear I think.

• I’m not the happiest with my body and its flaws. I’ve gained some weight. It’s scary to see itfully exposed.

• That my body image isn't going to be appealing in my pictures.

All of these women are terrified that they will be the ONE that I can’t “make beautiful.” They’re worried that the images that they see of themselves won’t match the images they’ve seen on my feed.

But, I don’t make anyone beautiful. Really, I don’t.

This experience is entirely about you; you are the only person that I care about throughout the entire thing. Even if you tell me that you’re doing this as an anniversary gift, my goal is to make this a gift for YOU. I know deep down that you need this more than anyone else. I know what it would mean to you to finally love the skin you’re in.

What I do is help you strip away the image that you have in your mind so that you can finally see the beauty that everyone else already knows is there. We’ll do hair & makeup to give you time to unwind and get to know me. I’ll put you in beautiful light and pose you down to your toes. I’ll cheer you on so that your heart and confidence can soar, but the person that you see in your images – that’s all you.

You’ll be able to see yourself the way I do, the way that everyone who loves you does.

I don’t make anyone beautiful, but I do make them see through the self-image they have in their mind to find a more accurate one.
